Treated acoustics
The shell is treated, so a lav or a shotgun picks up voice rather than room. Climate is zoned, which means the AC serving the set can be handled separately when a take needs silence.

Two or three cameras, and the power for them
Floor space for a multi-camera setup with a teleprompter in front of the A-camera, and 32A three-phase power so lighting, cameras and monitors are not sharing one circuit.

A prep room off the set
Talent reads the script, takes a call and gets touched up somewhere that is not in front of the crew. The set stays quiet and the schedule stays on time.

Pick the backdrop to the brand
White cove, painted moveable walls, or the podcast set. A recruiting film and a board-level interview should not be sitting in front of the same wall.
